PawsCo is about collective impact; it’s about changing lives. PawsCo’s Executive Director works with a large group volunteers to make a difference for animals who need us the most.
At PawsCo, we want to make a systematic difference in animal welfare, so we take a comprehensive approach that involves being proactive with outreach, addressing current issues, and being a resource to existing organizations.
PawsCo is a 501(c)3 animal welfare organization based in Denver, Colorado.
PawsCo is dedicated to reducing pet homelessness by keeping animals in their homes through partnering with the Food Bank of the Rockies for a year round Pet Food Drive, and serving as a partner to shelters and rescues to foster the most in-need animals – those animals not thriving in a shelter setting.

PawsCo is committed to education and community outreach. PawsCo works on collaborative spay/neuter efforts like TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and manages SNR (Spay-Neuter-Return) with several local shelters, which allows community cats to live out their lives, but without the ability to procreate
PawsCo aims to keep pets with their families – and out of the shelter system – by providing donated pet food. The ongoing Pet Food Drive drive collects dry and canned animal food and distributes the pet food to families through a partnership with the Food Bank of the Rockies.
PawsCo has a focus on helping pets who have the most need within the state of Colorado. PawsCo partners with shelters to assist with animals who are not thriving in a shelter setting and do not have adoption options within the shelter. PawsCo is an all-breed rescue where pets live in foster homes prior to adoption, and receive love, training, and medical care they need to be successful adoption candidates.
