Due to the high volume of calls we receive regarding puppies, we prefer that all inquiries are handled through the online contact form or email (email@example.com)
Our mission at MAMCO is to provide shelter for pregnant and nursing dogs who have been surrendered or abandoned in Colorado and surrounding states.
We are a foster based, 501c3 non-profit rescue, dedicated to the health and wellbeing of dams and their litters. We see our rescue dogs through pregnancy, birth (whelping), nursing, weaning, and adoption. In addition to providing necessary care, we also work to socialize, train, and evaluate each dog to ensure that they find permanent forever homes. This involves establishing close and trusting relationships with our volunteers, adopters, and the community.
While we have narrowed our rescue to only include pregnant and nursing dogs and their litters, we understand that sometimes orphaned litters also find themselves homeless. We are experienced in tube and bottle feeding, and are happy to accept motherless litters up to 12 weeks of age.
In order to care for the dogs and our fosters, MAMCO is closed Sunday – Tuesday. We will respond to calls and emails Wednesday – Friday. In the event of a medical emergency, please sent an “URGENT” email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will contact you shortly. All other emails will be answered during our normal business hours.
Fosters: In the event of an emergency please contact your foster coordinator directly.
