Because our mission is spay/neuter for community cats of the six counties of the San Luis Valley in Colorado, emails, messages, and calls asking for assistance with uncontrolled breeding of community cats will get priority. If we don’t return your call, assume our time is fully occupied with Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) operations.
Our building is not currently open for adoptions, all cats are housed in foster homes.
Adoptions: Kittens come and go fast, and with winter we’re slowing down our adoption operations. To get in on the cute overload, apply to adopt at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CSLV/Cat and then keep an eye on https://adoptapet.com/…/184220-cats-alive-slv-monte-vista-c…. We also have juvenile, adult, and working cats available, just scroll for posts advertising them!
😻Please remember and tell everyone you know with unfixed cats: spay/neuter van appointments at SLV Animal Center, 719-589-3385, are $25 for cats (feral cats are free), and assistance for pet cats is available at Spay Colorado, also about $25, using state funds from CPOF. Also, follow https://www.facebook.com/groups/slvSpayNeuterClinics for additional opportunities. 😻
If you need to get in touch with us or find our building, please see our “about” listing here on Facebook. Our website is under renovation, but you can view the new version in progress at http://catsaliveslv.wordpress.com. We have pages there that link to our next spay/neuter clinic, adoption application, TNR help, and how to donate. Have a look!
